From Pastor Hennig

Grace, peace and mercy be to you from God our Father, and from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.

Summer is quickly fleeting and the new school year is now upon us. Schedules have changed and time management is as important as ever. As we look to the numbers of things that change through out the year we see the importance of managing our time. We need to intentionally set aside time in our schedules for God, prayer, Bible study, personal and family devotions. The stewardship of our time is as important as the stewardship of or money, and abilities. A big part of our personal stewardship is that of budgeting; budgeting of our time, talents and money. As we set aside the first of our monies for God so to should we first set aside time for God and His Word. With the passing of Pastor Cross I have noticed a number of things that I need to do differently to accomplish the tasks at hand. This takes some budgeting of time. It takes the stewardship of time, the time God has given. As with anything we have, time too is a gift from God that is to be used to His honor and glory. Whether we are students just starting a new school year, or teachers or wherever we work, God has made us to be His. He has called us to be stewards of the gifts He has given. Please prayerfully consider how you use your time, and continue to keep our teachers and staff here at Concordia in your prayers that as we serve our God in this place we use our time to His glory now and always.

Peace in His Name

Pastor Jim
