Our theme for this school year is "’There is Hope for Your Future,’ declares the Lord." Last year we celebrated 75 years of God’s grace among us, so this year we are looking to the future to God’s continued care and blessings.

Something new this year will be the 4 required meetings during the month of September. The first one is to go over the Parent and Student Handbook 2007-2008 (both new and old policies). It will be a chance to ask questions and find out why the Board of Education has set these policies in place. The last three meetings will be an overview of what the children will be taught concerning Biblical doctrine.

Mr. Henschen will meet with all the parents for the first session, and Pastor Hennig will meet with all school parents for 3 sessions. There will be one new session each week, running for 4 consecutive weeks. Each session will be offered twice during the week giving the parents a choice of times. All session during each week will be the same. The sessions will be on Tuesday and Thursday evening from 7:00 – 8:00 pm. These sessions are for the parents, so we will have child care for the children. The dates of the meetings are September 4 or 6, September 11 or 13, September 18 or 20, and September 25 or 27.

We need you to attend these meetings so everyone understands what our school is teaching you children. God bless you all as we begin this school year under His care.

Daniel Henschen
