"There is hope for your future," declares the Lord. Jeremiah 31:17. This is our theme for this school year and it proclaim the certain hope we have in Christ Jesus.
It can also reflect on the hopes we have for our earthly lives. Many times one hears it said that our future rests with our children. So what kind of future will that be? It will all depend on what we are teaching our children now.
Train up a child in the way he should go;
even when he is old he will not depart from it.Proverbs 22:6
As parents we need to teach our children what God has said about right and wrong. It is easy sometimes as parents to be caught up in teaching and living the way the world had declared through Hollywood, the news media, and many politicians.
because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen.
Romans 1:25
We have to do better with our children. Even if we have made mistakes and not always lived the way God would have us to live, we have to teach our children what God commands with no compromise.
Our future and the future of our children rests on us teaching them the clear and certain hope of eternal life. God made the rules and commandments and He never gave man the right to change them even a little.
God bless all of you as we continue to teach His children together.
