5th and 6th Grade News
The school year is rushing by! The first quarter ends on October 30th.
Fifth grade students were welcomed to our classroom along with a new student in sixth grade, for a total of 18 students. Austin K. joins his sisters Anna and Melany here at Concordia.
The class is studying the life of Martin Luther and his beliefs in religion class. Officer Learch is in the classroom on Thursdays, presenting the D.A.R.E. program until graduation exercises on December 1st at 2:00pm. Everyone is welcome to attend!
Pastor Koschmann is helping the students learn Hebrew on Wednesday mornings. Our new science unit is on mammals, after investigating insects. History this year looks at our United States, and the emphasis is on how God’s has blessed our country.
A class tree will be on display at the "Festival of Trees" held at the Fairgrounds in November. We use this opportunity to witness the true meaning of Christmas.
The students thank the members of Concordia for the opportunity to attend Concordia – where we begin and end every day in the Word!
