Principally Speaking
I heard on the news last week that with new medical break throughs, children born
today, may, on average live to be 100 years old. If God does not return before then, what will our world be like in a hundred years? Will we still be able to worship Jesus freely and openly? God promises in the Bible that there will always be Christians, but will they be persecuted? There certainly are more questions than answers about the future.
I don’t know if I would want to live that long? Fortunately it is not my call. God knows our future and does not have any questions concerning it. He has all the answers and knows exactly how long my life will be. What comfort we have knowing that all the disease and all the wars, all the calamities and every other manner of evil are under His control. Even the H1N1 virus is not more powerful than our God.
"He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of His nature, and He upholds the universe by the word of His power. After making purification for sins, He sat down at the right hand of the majesty on high…" -Hebrews 1:3
God bless you all as we enjoy the changing of His seasons.
