Principally Speaking

Principal Daniel Henschen

The world is surely changing faster than I could have imagined just a few years ago. I remember in the spring of 1954 sitting on a wood pile watching my neighbor cutting his meadow with a team of horses. It was so quiet compared to my dad’s noisy tractors. Little did I know that the horses would soon be gone. Change happened quickly then and certainly happens quickly now. Growing up I always thought that God’s laws were the basis for the country’s laws. Now we have proudly declaring that we are not a Christian nation. New education trends come and go so quickly that it is difficult to make good decisions about what really is necessary for our children.

We will always have to work with change, but it does not have to lead us to despair. God has given all the tools we need to make good decisions. The Bible is as true and relevant today as when men were inspired by God to write it many years ago, and in it we find that God never changes.

"For I the Lord do not change; therefore you,

O children of Jacob, are not consumed. Malachi 3:6 (ESV)

The Bible is absolute truth, and can not be changed by man’s laws or theories.

God bless you all as we continue to teach His children the truth.
