Principally Speaking

Last night I took a little time to watch the lunar eclipse. When I first saw it, the moon was quite bright and everything looked like the typical winter full moon. When the moon was the darkest, everything seemed to vanish from view, but yet there were millions of stars visible which were not visible when the moon was brighter.

I know the science behind a lunar eclipse, which basically explains it as earth’s shadow going across the face of the moon, yet there is much more to it.

God has created an awesome universe, with all its spectacles. I enjoy the study of science especially when it shows and explains God’s creation. Too often today science is being used to shove God into some irrelevant position or to push some political agenda.

Christians need to always remember that God is still relavent in all parts of our lives including in science, and that God’s Word is still the real truth.

God bless you all as we look forward to spring and to seeing what God can do then.
