A Music Note from the Music Director –

What a joy to proclaim – He is Risen!  He is Risen, Indeed!  Hallelujah!  The Easter season of the Church year continues for the next few weeks and we will continue to sing "Hallelujah!"  However, I’d like to take time to share with you another joyous celebration that will be taking place at Concordia during the month of April.

Our school children have been working hard on music for their spring musical, "Acorns to Oaks".  This musical takes place on Mr. MacDonald’s farm with plenty of farm hands ready to bring in the harvest.  Along the way the children learn about growing in Christ despite some mischievous crows and rumor weeds.  The children will share through word and song that our roots are to be firmly rooted in God’s Word.

"They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of His splendor." Isaiah 61:3b

Please join us on Friday, April 18,at 7:00 p.m. in the school gymnasium.  We are asking those attending to consider bringing a donated item for our Concordia Cares Food Pantry, which will be part of our "harvest" at the end of the musical.
