Patty and I were talking about the cross on top of the Church and what it signifies. During this season, when we remember His death and celebrate His resurrection, the cross holds special meaning because we are reminded of the great sacrifice Christ willingly endured for us. He loves us, even if we do not deserve it.

Because of Christ, we, who live under the cross, have a big responsibility. By our words and actions, we represent Christ to the lost world. If we do not do our job, the lost may never be brought to faith. When we can not work through our differences with others, we miss a chance to show others what Christ has done for them. We must be willing to forgive all, just as He has forgiven us.

"So then as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith." Galations 6:10

Lord, help us all to live under the responsibility of the cross.
