PRINCIPALLY SPEAKING: “75 Years of God’s Grace among Us” The celebration was last Sunday, but that does not mean that it is over. Our thankfulness to God stems from the fact that we recognize all the grace God has shown us in the past and continues to show us now and into the future. So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness. Colossians 2:6-7
Thanks to our volleyball coaches, Mrs. Denise Hennig and Mrs. Vonda Wiegand, for all the hours of practice and time they gave to assist our girls in learning the game of volleyball.
Thanks also to Mrs. Lisa Krueger for coaching cross country and making sure everybody had a ride to get to the meets and had a chance to compete.
God bless you all as we enjoy the changing seasons in Illinois.
Dan Henschen

QUOTABLE QUOTES:

GOOD ADVICE
*The best way to get even is to forget it.
*Feed your faith, and your doubts will starve to death.
*God wants spiritual fruit, not religious nuts.
*Marriages may be made in heaven, but they ALL have to be maintained on earth.
*Unless you can create the WHOLE universe in 6 days, then perhaps giving advice to God
isn’t such a good idea.
*Sorrow looks back, worry looks around, and faith looks up.
*Standing in the middle of the road is dangerous. You will get knocked down by the traffic from both ways.
*It isn’t difficult to make a mountain out of a molehill; just add a little dirt.
*A successful marriage isn’t finding the right person—it’s being the right person.
*The might oak was once a little nut that held its ground.
*The tongue must be heavy indeed because so few people can hold it.
*To forgive is to set the prisoner free and then discover the prisoner was you.
*You have to wonder about humans, they think God is dead and Elvis is alive.
*If the grass is greener on the other side of the fence, you can bet the water bill is higher.
*And last but not least — God gave the angels wings, and He gave humans CHOCOLATE!
