ASSISTANT PRINCIPALLY SPEAKING: He has Risen!! What beautiful words to a
Christians ears. As Easter approaches, we are again reminded of the tremendous
sacrifice our Lord paid for you and for me. He paid that price for just such a moment as
this. We have the beautiful assurance of life eternal with our Lord and Savior. We have
the words of comfort that our sins are forgiven. We have the comfort of a powerful God
loving us enough to be at our sides throughout the trials and temptations in our lives
this side of heaven. What more can a child of God ask? We have it all, dont we!
Please help us help your child experience these Christian realities as you prepare for the
most joyous of holidays in the church year. Talk to your child about Easter. Read the
accounts from the Gospels with them. Make your Easter celebration a celebration of our
Lords resurrection in the fullest sense.
HE HAS RISEN! HE HAS
RISEN INDEED!

QUOTABLE QUOTES
Modern technology allows us to enjoy our families and friends through the use of our
computers. In that context please enjoy this poem called BLESSINGS.
Dear Lord:
Every single evening
As Im lying here in bed,
This tiny little prayer
Keeps running through my head.
God bless all my family
Wherever they may be.
Keep them warm and safe from harm
For theyre so close to me.
And God, there is one more thing
I wish that you could do.
Hope you dont mind me asking.
Bless my computer too.
Now I know thats not normal
to bless a mother board,
But listen just a second
While I explain to you, My Lord.
You see, that little metal box
Holds more than odds and ends.
Inside those small compartments
Rest so many of my FRIENDS.
I know so much about them
By the kindness that they give,
And this little scrap of metal
Takes me in to where they live.
By faith is how I know them,
Much the same as you.
We share in what life brings us
And from that our friendship grew.
Please, take an extra minute,
From your duties up above,
To bless those in my address book
That's filled with so much love!
Wherever else this prayer may reach
To each and every friend,
Bless each e-mail Inbox
and the person who hits Send.
May our Lord bless us as we use modern technology to communicate His love to those who we
reach via whatever means He gives us!
